This Messy Magnificent Life
Grab your favorite coffee, wrap yourself in a cozy sweater and set aside this Saturday from 11am-12:30 pm PST, for an online conversation with best-selling author Geneen Roth and fashion designer Eileen Fisher.
In case you don't know about Eileen Fisher LifeWork, it's the designer's passion project focused on workshops and events that explore the life/work connection and how we can bring more of our whole selves into both.
Roth and Fisher will engage in "an exciting deep dive into what lies behind our tendencies toward self-criticism. Inspired by Geneen’s new book, This Messy Magnificent Life, the discussion will explore the personal beliefs, hidden traumas, and social pressures that shape not just women’s feelings about their bodies, but also their confidence, choices, and relationships."
"Inspired by her own dark night of the soul — plus years of teaching workshops on weight, money, and other obsessions — Geneen has come to understand what keeps so many women stuck in their unhappiness. She uses her own experiences and those of her students to reveal the paradoxes in our beliefs and emotions — and show how to move beyond our past to build lives based on love, joy, and self-acceptance."
Shout out to our magnificent friend, Shelley, for pointing us to this sure-to-be-engaging event.
