We fell in awe of Babette Davis, aka “Chef Babette,” watching her daily plank videos where she was sharing her journey building up to a six-minute plank by documenting her progress daily on her Instagram, @chefbabette.
Since 2008, Chef Babette has owned and operated the clean, plant-based restaurant Stuff I Eat in downtown Inglewood, California. She felt called to bring clean, healthy choices to a neighborhood that didn't have many options when it came to elevated vegan fare, and opened it during the unstable economic downturn of 2008, no less. More than a decade later, Stuff I Eat continues to thrive while bringing vegan soul-food to her community.
